Public Speaking and Pelvic Health

Alex will talk about anything to do with that embarrassing bit in the middle of your body that no one else really wants to discuss.

Alex speaks with humour and a frank openness to numerous groups on the topic of pelvic health in women, men and children.

She brings wit with humility to discuss an often embarrassing and taboo subject, brought alive with a number of useful props and anecdotes.

She addresses groups of women interested in progressing their understanding of the menopause and pelvic health, groups of businesswomen seeking the opportunity to develop their understanding of themselves and has lectured at Bath University to Masters students on Men’s Pelvic Health.

Primary School PSHE and all types of education

Alex has worked at a local primary school for several years, helping to deliver PSHE curriculum to Years 5 & 6.

She works collaboratively with the teaching staff to deliver a comprehensive curriculum approach but adds a level of personality and depth of knowledge to the topic. She has worked with individuals and small groups as well as class sizes of up to 32 children.

Too often teachers are too scared to discuss body changes or know how to answer questions without being embarrassed and this is where Alex can facilitate the learning experience.

She loves working with people of any age to deliver information about the body as it changes through life. There is a real thirst for knowledge about the menopause at the moment, specifically how it affects women but also to find out what they can be doing about it

Business Workshops

Alex has been a keynote speaker at several Business Women In Wiltshire, Berkshire and Gloucestershire events, speaking on Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Menopause topics.

She has organised popular Pelvic Floor & Prosecco evenings to normalise the conversation around Women’s Health in her local region in Wiltshire.

As the POGP rep for the South of England region she organises a bi-monthly event to promote pelvic health with her peers.

She can lecture on a specific topic within the world of pelvic health or deliver a more relaxed approach with a question and answer style.

Whatever the manner of delivery there are always a series of fascinating questions to be answered so she tries to ensure there is always time for this additional requirement.
